Curriculum Intent

At St Nicolas Academy we are committed to providing a secure and happy environment for our children to learn and play. We provide enhancement opportunities to engage learning and believe that children’s first experiences of school should be happy and positive, enabling them to develop a lifelong love of learning.

At St Nicolas Academy we believe that all children deserve an education rich in wonder and memorable experiences that allows children's natural creativity and curiosity to flourish, alongside the purposeful acquisition of skills and knowledge in order that they are equipped for what comes next.

Our aim is to encourage all children to become confident individuals who are able to lead safe, healthy and fulfilling lives. We aim to build the foundations that allow our children to become responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society.

We believe that an education that does all of this gives children the best chance to become well-rounded, happy individuals, ready to succeed in an ever-changing world.
